Felix Röwekämper is not only our friendly face of the FLOTT Academy – Felix also knows what he is talking about!

With his training as an industrial mechanic and subsequent work in the field of machining production and maintenance, he laid the foundation for his professional career. By subsequently passing the instructor exam, he has already been able to successfully train several apprentices. Felix gained further expertise by completing advanced training to become a state-certified technician.

What’s more, he’s bubbling over with ideas. As the inventor of the “Flex nozzle” and the new type of drilling machine vice “FLOTT felix”, he has already had some successes.

With the “FLOTT felix” drilling machine vice, he became the Jugend forscht Bundessieger 2018 and was subsequently invited by Dr. Merkel and the European Parliament to present his project there. Furthermore, Felix was awarded the “German Occupational Safety Award 2019” in cooperation with FLOTT. This is Germany’s most prestigious award in this field and is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, among others.

His subsequent development, the “flex nozzle”, also attracted a great deal of attention. With this innovation, a new type of flexible vacuum cleaner floor nozzle, he also made it to the Jugend forscht national finals and won several awards. Subsequently, he was invited to participate in a wide variety of TV formats. Among other things, he appeared in the show ” Das Ding des Jahres” on ProSieben, where he made it to the show finale. In the future, this development will also be available in stores.

In the future, Felix would like to share his knowledge through the academy and make the world a better place through more ideas.
